Cooper Union Archives collection of student publications
This collection contains publications produced by students of The Cooper Union from 1904 up through the present day. Subjects covered in these publications include art education, mathematics, politics, the experiences of foreign nationals studying in the U.S., student organizations, poetry, and humor. The long-running student newspaper, The Pioneer, is cataloged seperately.
Cordero collection of wartime Newsletters and student satire
Ruth Reiman Cordero graduated from the School of Art in 1946. During her time at Cooper, she facilitated the production of wartime Newsletters. This collection contains Ruth's agglomeration of wartime Newsletters and several issues of a student publication named Jabberwocky.
Doug Ashford collection
The Doug Ashford collection is comprised of the personal archives of Doug Ashford related to The Cooper Union, a professor at The Cooper Union School of Art from 1989-current. It contains student work and documentation of student work, material related to the Intradisciplinary Seminar program, and some personal documents and correspondence.
Event and exhibition ephemera
The Exhibition and Event Ephemera Collection consists of event invitations, showcards, flyers and posters from events held at The Cooper Union from 1881 through 2019. The collection includes materials from The School of Art, The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, and The Albert Nerken School of Engineering. Materials are added regularly.
Voices from the Great Hall
The Voices from the Great Hall collection consists of sound and moving image recordings, photographs, press releases, announcements, and ephemera documenting events in the Great Hall at The Cooper Union from 1915 to the present.
